A group of four identical twins who married one another, have decided to undergo surgical procedures in order for the spouses to be able to tell the apart.
The couples of Shanxi, China, got married last month.
After having trouble telling who is who at the wedding ceremony, they have all decided to make their faces look different through plastic surgery.
A doctor agreed to alter their appearance. The two brothers and two sisters are all 22 years old. The two sets of identical twins grew up just six miles apart, but the met through a matchmaker.
The two brother, Zhao Xin and Zhao Xuan, married the twins sisters, Yun Fei and Yun Yang.
Ironically, the two couples drive identical cars, and the only difference between the two white Volkswagens is a single letter on their license plates.
One brother said that one time, he went for a walk and accidentally held the hand of his brother’s wife. Friends and family members found it difficult to tell them apart, and often complained.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Kang, said that he will make slight alterations in their noses and foreheads.
