(Scroll down for video) A man is being held without bail after assaulting his wife in front of their children.
Ryan Paquette, 35, of Georgia, is well-known to police.
He was previously charged with making terroristic threats.
He was convicted of the charge and he is on probation for threatening violence against a police officer. Now, his wife called police after she was beaten and humiliated in front of her children.
Paquette of Appling, was arrested for battery and two counts of child cruelty after beating his wife. The woman told police that when her husband became angry, she went into the bedroom, where her three children were resting.
Her husband came after her. He then dragged her and threw her on top of their 4-year-old child. This caused her knee to hit the child in the chest, causing bruising.
He then pulled his wife by the hair to the kitchen, where he pinned her up against the refrigerator, grabbed her by the neck, choked her and slammed her head into it. She then fell to the floor.
The woman eventually called police and admitted that she had been abused by her husband for the past 10 years.
Paquette was arrested, and his is being held without bond because this charge caused him to violate his parole.
