The Augusta County Sheriff's Office said that they have arrested 38-year-old Kelly Carol Cosby, a teacher at the Churchville Elementary School, after a school resource officer observed that she was drunk.

Cosby was charged with one count of public intoxication. She was booked and released without bail.

According to the police, Cosby showed up to work on Wednesday, and was intoxicated to a degree that she couldn’t take care of the children.

In August, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said that they arrested 57-year-old Kathleen Jardine of Chandler, Arizona, after being accused of drinking at the Poston Butte High School.

She was cited for consumption of alcohol in public after she admitted to drinking in her classroom during lunch.
