(Scroll down for video) Consumers can now purchase a high-tech mattress that sends out mobile alerts when it detects sexual activity.

The new mattress called “Smartress,” is being produced by Durmet, which is based in La Coruna, Spain.
The company promises that your mattress will remain loyal even if your spouse isn’t.

The mattress contains 24 sensors that can detect the frequency and intensity of bouncing on the surface so that suspicious partners can find out if their bed is being used in an objectionable manner.

When the sensors notice any unexpected action, they will send an alert to the owner’s mobile phone.

While the technology cannot identify the people using the mattress, it can tell the difference between innocent activities like a dog jumping on the bed and sexual activities.

The mattress cannot alert the owner when suspicious activity is happening on another bed or at a different location. "If your partner is not faithful, at least your mattress is," the company said on its website.
