(Scroll down for video) People in New Zealand, got high on fumes after police officers burned drugs that they seized.

Officers were burning a large amount of illegal marijuana in Turangi, which they seized, but they did not realize that they were smoking up the entire area.

Adam Green, who was near a supermarket, took video of the heavy smoke coming from the police station.

Green said that the smoke that was coming out of the chimney, was spreading to the New World supermarket’s parking lot and it smelled like cannabis.

Taupo District Area Commander Warwick Morehu apologized for the incident and said that they will be looking for another location to burn drugs in the future so that the fumes do not affect people.
