A woman was arrested on a charge of obstruction of a business after allegedly calling a law firm 500 times and telling the receptionist “you should die” before hanging up, police in Japan said.

Tokyo police said that they have arrested 35-year-old Yoko Nakano, after being accused of making hundreds of harassing phone calls because the law firm did not want to take her case to court.

Nakano was charged with one count of obstruction of a business. According to the police investigation, Nakano called the law firm 500 times over a period of one week.

When the receptionist answered the call, all she said was “you should die.” Nakano was angry after she was harassed by her boss while working at a telecommunications company.

Nakano asked the law firm to sue her boss for harassment, but they refused, saying that there was not enough evidence.

Nakano decided to take revenge and make the annoying phone calls.
