A woman of the United Kingdom, lost custody of her children after naming one of her newborn children Cyanide, because it is the poison that killed Adolf Hitler, according to court documents.

The young woman of Powys, who was not identified, recently gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl.

She named her daughter Cyanide and her son Preacher. When social workers learned about the unusual name, they dragged the mother to court in order to force a name change.

However, the woman told the court that it is her human right to name her children, and she believes that Cyanide is a beautiful name as it is the poison that got rid of Hitler.

The court ruled that girl’s name will be changed as Cyanide will cause unnecessary harm to the child later in life. The court also took away the children from the woman and handed them over to social workers.

The woman appealed the verdict, but the Court of Appeals sided with the lower court.
