The mother of 8-year-old twins in Canada, expressed her outrage after receiving a violation because her children made too much noise while playing outside.

Jana D’Addabbo wrote a post on Facebook, complaining about the violation she received from the city of Coquitlam.

The Notice of Violation was issued on Saturday around 2:00 p.m.

D'Addabbo was advised to talk to her children about being considerate to their neighbors while playing outside, and to keep the yelling and screaming to a minimum.

Andrea McDonald, who is an official in the City of Coquitlam, said that the violation was issued due to the volume of the noise of the 8-year-old twins rather than the time of day.

The notice of violation is a warning and not a ticket, which would incur a fine.

The mother said that she is ashamed and disgusted to be a resident of the city that does not appreciate when children play outdoors instead of sitting with their iPads.
