The owner of an auto body shop was arrested on a charge of supplying methamphetamine after allegedly paying his employees with meth instead of cash, police in Minnesota said.
Mankato police have arrested 40-year-old Jesse Michael Seifert, the owner of Clear Choice Auto Body Repair, after an employee called 911 to say that he was offered meth as payment for his work.
Seifert’s girlfriend, 39-year-old Nancy Jean Loehlein, was also arrested after being accused of distributing the meth in the presence of her boyfriend.
Seifert was charged with supplying methamphetamine.
According to the police investigation, during a staff meeting on Wednesday afternoon, Seifert offered each employee a half a gram of methamphetamine as payment.
The methamphetamine was allegedly distributed by Loehlein while Seifert was present.
During a search of the auto body shop located at 1676 Star Street, police found used syringes that tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine.
A digital scale used to weigh meth was also found.
