15,000 bees fly into high-end jewelry store before resting on items in display case

(Scroll down for video) Customers of a high-end jewelry store in France, ran away in panic after a large amount of bees raided the shop, according to a video uploaded to the Internet.

The Lignon Joaillerie Bijouterie jewelry store of Montpellier, posted a video on Facebook, showing a beekeeper getting rid of the 15,000 bees, which were resting on a display case.

The owner of the store said that the bizarre incident unfolded on Wednesday. The swarm of bees came in through the front entrance of the store.

The owner, who was not identified, quickly led the panicked customers out of a back door as more bees swarmed in. A beekeeper was called in to get rid of the bees, and he estimated the swarm at 15,000.

The bees were resting on a display case. The beekeeper was able to remove all the bees from the store before anyone was hurt.
