Clarksburg police arrested 25-year-old Tyler Killingsworth, after being accused of having sex with his girlfriend's 3-year-old daughter.
Killingsworth has been charged with one count of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $75,000.
If convicted, Killingsworth faces up to 20 years in prison.
According to the police investigation, the girl's mother noticed a strange growth on the genitals of the girl, and took her to the hospital, where a sexual assault nurse examined her and confirmed that it was genital warts.
Police questioned the girl who said that Killingsworth touched her with his private parts several times. Killingsworth denied any sexual contact, but he confessed that he has the same sexually transmitted disease.
He took a polygraph test, and failed.
