(Scroll down for video) An armed robber burned a motel to the ground because he wanted to escape from the authorities.
FBI agents, marshals, and police officers worked together to close in on 28 year-old Orlando Collins, who is on the Kansas Most Wanted List.
However, when officials raided the motel where the suspect was hiding out, he shot at them, injuring three federal agents.
The incident took place at 10:00 p.m. at the Country Club Motel in Topeka. All officials were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Before they were able to get to the suspect, officers realized the suspect set the motel on fire. Topeka Fire Marshal Michael Martin said that the motel is a total loss.
