(Scroll down for video) A 13-year-old boy was very sad when his gift from his mother was stolen.

Now, nearly 30 years later, it was found and returned to its rightful owner.

Bud Moore of Oklahoma, received a horse saddle from his parents. They engraved his name and the year 1986, which is when he received it as a Christmas gift.

Moore said that the saddle was stolen from a stable when it was brand new, and he never thought he would see it again.

However, he was recently contacted by someone who spotted the lost item on social media.

Michel Benedict was the one who posted a photo of the saddle on social media. She said that she found the item discarded at a curb with other garbage.

She asked people to share the photo on social media in order to find the rightful owner. Moore was surprised and overwhelmed when he was reunited with his 30-year-old gift.

He said that his mother is no longer alive and he will keep the saddle in his living room as a constant reminder of his parents’ love for him.
