A man was arrested on a charge of unlawful discharge of a firearm after allegedly shooting a gun at his neighbor because it took him too long to come out of the toilet, police in Connecticut said.
Vernon police arrested 22-year-old Shawn Cummins, after being accused of using a gun to voice his displeasure in waiting for his neighbor’s toilet.
Cummins was charged with one count of unlawful discharge of a firearm, illegally carrying a firearm while intoxicated, first-degree reckless endangerment, threatening and disorderly conduct.
He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $20,000.
According to the police, officers were called to an apartment complex about 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, on a report of a highly intoxicated man firing a gun.
Cummins was in the apartment of a neighbor when he became restless while waiting for the bathroom. He pulled out a handgun and fired a round at the bathroom door.
He then fired another shot on an outside wall. No injuries were reported.
