(Scroll down for video) A petting zoo employee was arrested on a charge of sexual assault after allegedly sexually assaulting at least five young children, police in Alabama said.
Florence police have arrested 48-year-old Daryl V. Raymond Jr., 48, of Stockholm, Maine, after being accused of sexually assaulting children while working for the Jungle Safari of Florida.
Raymond was charged with five counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12. He was booked into the Lauderdale County Detention Center, and his bail was set at $250,000.
According to the police investigation, Raymond worked for Jungle Safari, which travels to malls, fairs and festivals across the country.
He was originally charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12. Police said that two children who visited the zoo, came forward to file complaints.
On Monday, Raymond was charged with three additional counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12 after three more victims came forward to file complaints.
Police believe that there are more victims and urged the children to come forward.
