|Fake $100 bill|
(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested on a charge of possession of a forged instrument after allegedly trying to buy a jar of mayonnaise with a fake $100 bill, police in New York said.
Cheektowaga police have arrested 47-year-old Rinet Fox, after being accused of presenting the fake $100 bill at the Restaurant Depot, before trying to buy the jar of mayonnaise.
Fox was charged with one count of possession of a forged instrument, and was released from custody without bail.
According to the police investigation, on Wednesday, Fox of Sudbury Lane, entered the Restaurant Depot located on Duke Road, and brought a jar of mayonnaise to the check out.
She then tried to use the fake $100 bill, which had the words "for the motion picture use only" stamped on it. The manager of the store called the police, and the woman was arrested at the scene.
