A young woman in Austria, is angry after police officers told her to dye her blond hair in order not to entice refugees from the Middle East and Asia, where most women have dark hair.

The 20-year-old student said that she feels police are blaming her for the attack by a gang of four men.

The incident occurred when the woman who was identified as Sabina, was waiting to catch a train at the Westbahnhof station in Vienna.

The woman told police that she was standing on the platform waiting for the train when a man approached her and spoke in a foreign language.

He ran his hands through her hair and made it clear that in Afghanistan, women do not have blond hair. She told him to leave her alone, and he left.

A few minutes later, the man returned with three of his friends.

All four refugees beat her and stole her purse.

After the men fled from the scene, she went to a hospital, where she was treated for injuries to her head, shoulder and elbow.

After being released from the hospital, she went to a nearby police station to file a complaint.

However, the officers told her to change her hair color and stop dressing in revealing clothes, and advised her not to travel alone after 8:00 p.m.

So far, no arrests have been made.
