(Scroll down for video) A man is accused of using Craigslist to get a woman to have sex with his dog.

The man of Arizona, was arrested at the Holiday Inn Express on Priest Drive and Baseline Road.

47-year-old James Trent Hauser was arrested on charges of bestiality.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, Hauser from Mesa, agreed to take the dog to the Holiday Inn so that a woman he met on Craigslist can engage in sexual acts with his dog.

The woman was actually a male detective with MCSO.

Police said that while Hauser was exchanging messages with the undercover agent, Hauser asked if she was a cop. The detective replied: “Yeah I am Sheriff Joe…lol.”

However, that did not stop Hauser. He set up a time to meet and he said that he will bathe his dog for the occasion.

When the suspect arrived at the hotel, he was arrested. Hauser was booked into jail on two counts of bestiality.

The dog has been delivered to the MASH animal shelter, which was started by Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office wrote that MASH is the no-kill animal shelter that was started by the infamous Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

They describe MASH as a place to house and care for animals that have been abused or neglected by their caretakers, and rescued by the Animal Crimes Investigations Unit.

The purpose of the shelter is to provide a safe, healthy and healing shelter for these tragic animals, who must necessarily await the outcome of their owners’ cruelty cases in court.

Hopefully, their ultimate outcome will be adoption into loving permanent homes.
