A man was arrested on a charge of rape after attacking a young woman in the elevator of her apartment building, according to police in France.
Now, the 24-year-old rapist of Toulouse, was sent to prison after being convicted of rape in connection with the attack on the 19-year-old woman who bit off his tongue.
According to the police investigation, the man followed his victim into her apartment building before attacking her in the elevator.
The man demanded to have sex with the woman before he violently pulled her shirt and other clothes in a sustained attack.
The woman then allowed the man to kiss her, and as he did, she bit his tongue, prompting him to flee. The victim then called the police who came and found a large amount of blood and the tip of the rapist’s tongue.
Police alerted hospitals to be on the lookout for a man with a missing tongue. When the rapist checked himself into a hospital, he was arrested.
The rapist denied the allegations, saying that the woman led him to believe that she wanted to have sex.
