A man was found hanging from a utility pole in California.
Authorities confirmed that the man is an employee of AT&T.
61-year-old Robert Alfred Hernandez of Studio City, was found hanging upside down from a pole in Los Angeles. His work vehicle with an AT&T logo on it, was parked at the scene.
Rescuer workers found him around 3:00 p.m. on Friday, in the neighborhood of Glen Valley. They took him down from the pole and he was declared dead at the scene.
Authorities are not sure if this was an electrical accident or a medical emergency that caused Hernandez’s death.
However, Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department, said that initial reports suggest that Hernandez had a medical emergency while working on the pole, but an official determination will be made by the LA County coroner.
