A man was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly killing a doctor during a violent sex session, according to police in Mexico.

Mexico City police said that they have arrested 32-year-old Juan Javier Jonathan Ruiz Torres, who works as a journalist, after being accused of killing 23-year-old Tania Trinidad Paredes, who works as a psychologist, during a violent sex session.

The suspect told investigators that he and the victim went out for drinks along with his friend, Jose Luis Arzate Martinez, before they returned to his apartment.

Paredes then suggested they all have sex together. Martinez refused her request and went to bed so Paredes decided to have sex with Torres.

While having sex, she asked Torres to squeeze her neck and slap her because she likes rough sex. Torres found a cable on the side of the bed, and accidentally killed the woman by choking her for too long.

Doctors determined that the cause of death was asphyxiation, and she also suffered a broken neck.
