A young good-looking woman has drowned while participating in a risky underwater photo shoot, according to firefighters in Taiwan.
25-year-old Olivia Ku, who worked as a model, drowned while being photographed underwater in Pingtung County.
According to the police investigation, Ku worked as a model and used the Eelin Entertainment modeling agency to secure jobs.
Before Ku drowned, she was asked to remove her oxygen tank in order to get better pictures.
This is not unusual as underwater photo shoots generally requires the absence of diving equipment, at least for a short time.
Ku suddenly passed out due to an asthma attack and drowned. Firefighters and members of the Coast Patrol Corp 6-3 said that Ku was removed from the water unconscious.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital after she could not be resuscitated. Ku had three years experience with diving underwater.
Ku left behind her husband and 4-year-old daughter.
