(Scroll down for video) A young man lost his life after an aspiring rap artists killed him for his money.
Police in Florida, arrested three rappers in connection to the murder.
The rappers were performing on stage and they wanted to wave around cash while singing. However, they were all broke and they did not have cash so they decided to rob someone.
Dyland Kindred, who is also an aspiring hip hop artist, told the men to rob 21-year-old Tyler Macklin at his home in Winter Haven.
18-year-old Joseph Edward Gomes-Brandon, Jr., and 21-year-old Jonathan Olin Felix broke into Macklin’s home, shot him in the neck and stole $300.
Kindred, 20, told police that the rappers were only supposed to rob Macklin, who was an easy target. He had cash and drugs in his house.
Video was released, showing the rappers waving around the stolen cash during their performance a few hours after the murder.
Gomes-Brandon and Felix were arrested on charges of murder, armed robbery, and various home invasion charges.
Kindred, who drove the men to the victim’s home, was charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Deputies said that his charge could be upgraded pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
