A man was arrested after being caught playing a stripper with fake cash, according to police in Michigan.

The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Department said that they have arrested 32-year-old Stephen C. Gidcumb, after being accused of sitting in the VIP section of a strip club and using fake money to pay strippers for lap dances.

If convicted, Gidcumb faces up to seven years in prison. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $50,000.

According to the police investigation, Gidcumb lives in his parents’ home. Police officers who searched the house, found printing equipment and fake $100 bills in the basement of the home.

On Friday, Gidcumb paid a stripper with fake money after getting a lap dance at the Deja Vu club in Kochville Township.

Employees at the club said that the suspect had some counterfeit $100 bills mixed with regular $100 bills. When employees realized that the cash was fake, they immediately called the police.

After paying the stripper, Gidcumb, who had been sitting in the VIP section, left the club. Police arrested him when he returned to the club that night.
