Man beats his stepbrother with tire iron after dispute broke out over a dog named Chaos

A man was left with serious injuries after being beaten with a tire iron during a dispute about a dog named Chaos, according to police in the United Kingdom.

Now, 28-year-old Craig Hatto of Caddington, has been sentenced to serve 5 years in prison after being found guilty of assault causing grievous bodily harm.

According to the police investigation, Hatto launched the attack on the victim after he snatched the dog named Chaos from his home.

The 22-year-old victim told the Luton Crown Court, that Hatto had been hiding in a bush on Luton Road, waiting to attack him.

He then hit Lewis Law ten times with the tire iron. Hatto, who was with another man, drove off in a red car after telling him that he will be back for the dog.

The victim said that he went to his home on Hyde Road, and his mother drove him to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.

The victim and Hatto had been stepbrothers as the victim's mother and Hatto's father had been in a relationship. The victim admitted that he took the dog, but he claimed it was his all along.
