A man was arrested for robbery after his car refused to start.

The man was accused of mugging an elderly man at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida.

However, he did not get far. Police arrested 26-year-old Edenson Major, after his getaway car did not start and he had to take a ride from a passerby, police said.

Judge John Hurley said that surveillance video showed Major placing the 73-year-old victim in a chokehold in the Winner's Way parking garage.

Major then allegedly reached into the man's pocket and stole $1,895 in cash. The man fell to the ground and Major fled.

Police called the owner of the broken down car and he told them that he loaned the car to Major, who is his cousin.

Major was charged with robbery by sudden snatching, theft from a person 65 or older, and battery on a person 65 or older.
