(Scroll down for video) Parents of a young girl in Utah, spoke about their shock when they entered their child’s bedroom and saw her hanging by pajamas from a bunk bed.
Highland police launched an investigation into the death of 11-year-old Tabitha Washburn, after her mother Angeline, found her dead in her bedroom on Friday.
The child's father Nathan, was not home at the time.
Angeline told investigators that she was with a friend on the ground floor when Tabitha approached them in a cheerful mood and asked for a snack before returning to her room.
After some time, the mother went up to her bedroom to check on her, but she was already dead. She was hanging from the bunk bed with her pajamas wrapped around her neck.
