Student with cerebral palsy surprises everyone by walking for first time during graduation

(Scroll down for video) Students in Oklahoma, erupted in cheers when their friend got up and walked for the first time in his life.

Micah McDade reached his goal of graduating as a senior at the Okmulgee High School.

However, he had another goal, which was to walk for the first time while getting his diploma.

McDade who was born with cerebral palsy, decided it wasn't enough for him to just receive his diploma, he wanted to get out of his wheelchair and physically walk across the stage.

McDade worked hard to accomplish this goal, and after months of grueling practice, the big moment came, and McDade rose to the challenge.

He got out of his wheelchair, took his walker and began slowly walking down the stage. Everyone who witnessed the touching moment, erupted in cheers and applauded the young man for his accomplishments.
