Man changes ‘construction ahead’ road sign to ‘drive crazy you all’

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of criminal mischief after allegedly changing a road sign from “construction ahead” to “drive crazy you all,” according to police in Texas.

Cedar Park police said that they have arrested 26-year-old Geoffrey Eltgroth, after being accused of hacking into a road sign as a prank.

Eltgroth has been charged with one count of criminal mischief.

According to the police, a driver on Frontage Road, saw Eltgroth walking up to the electronic road sign and typing something on its keyboard.

When he walked away, the sign changed from “construction ahead” to “drive crazy you all.” The driver called the police and Eltgroth was located at a nearby gas station.

When questioned about the sign, Eltgroth admitted that he changed the message to be funny. Eltgroth managed to guess the username and password to access the road sign.
