Police in Oregon, were called when a vehicle was spotted driving recklessly.
Officers responded to reports that a possible drunk driver hit two parked cars.
When officers arrived, they did not find the driver in the car. However, the recognized the car as one that was reported stolen.
The crash occurred at 8:30 a.m. in the 4200 block of North Juneau Street, in Portland. Police searched the area and found two children hiding in the area.
Police learned that the 11-year-old boy drove the stolen car and he had a 13-year-old boy in the passenger seat when he crashed.
Both boys were reported by their families as runaways. They were arrested and booked in juvenile detention center on charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
