(Scroll down for video) A cruel man was arrested on a charge of animal cruelty after allegedly tying his dog to his truck and driving while the animal kicked and screamed, according to police in Washington.
Vancouver police said that they have arrested 52-year-old David Kadow, after neighborhood residents saw him severely abusing his dog before it was found dead in his home.
Kadow was charged with one count of animal cruelty and one count of driving with a suspended license. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $75,000.
Police went to Kadow’s house on Sunday, after being called about a dog being dragged by a truck.
Neighbors told police that they heard the dog barking and crying loudly, and saw it on a leash being dragged along the side of the truck dog.
Police went into Kadow’s home, and found the body of the dog.
Kadow said that the dog’s death was an accident as he didn’t realize that of the dog’s leashes broke.
