(Scroll down for video) A couple is devastated after child services took their baby away just one day after his birth.

When Sarah Dome of Sacramento, California, was in labor, her husband, Kali Kanongata, wanted to share the special moment with their family.

He used the new Facebook live streaming app to share the labor and birth with them. However, he did not realize that he pressed the button to record, and shared it live with the public instead of his Friends list.

The proud father recorded the last 45 minutes of his son’s birth at the Mercy San Juan Medical Center.

Dome said that she did not realize that the birth was being live streamed and that people from around the world were watching her.

However, she is not upset over the situation, hoping this will help other women who will be encouraged by her special moments.

Although there was nothing graphic during the live show, the baby was removed from the parents after someone recognized Kanongata from a domestic abuse situation and called police.

The baby was taken into custody by child protective services until they can determine that the baby will be safe in their home.
