(Scroll down for video) A professor was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly killing his elderly wife before jumping out of a window without wearing clothes, according to police in Florida.
Riviera Beach police said that they have arrested 78-year-old James Huhta, who was a professor at the Middle Tennessee State University, after being accused of killing his wife, 79-year-old Mary Huhta.
James was charged with one count of murder.
According to the police, Mary Huhta was found dead in the bedroom of her Eastpoint Condominium Association apartment on North Ocean Drive, around 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
After killing his wife, James Huhta jumped from a balcony at the residence in his underwear. He was taken to the St. Mary's Medical Center, where he confessed to stabbing his wife to death while she was in bed.
The neighbors told investigators that they are shocked about the incident as the couple was believed to be in a loving relationship.
