The new center called Power Plant Fitness, is said to be the first gym in the world that allows marijuana use on premises.

The owner of the gym said the marijuana is used as a tool to focus and recovery.

The new members will take a performance evaluation under the supervision of staff to determine the most optimal way of marijuana consumption.

At first, the gym will allow the consumption of marijuana infused food items and vaping. In the future, Power Plant Fitness plans to add an outdoor deck for smoking marijuana.

San Francisco prohibits smoking marijuana inside most public places.

The company also plans to produce a line of food products, including fruit leather, which are designed for pre-workout and post-workout.
