(Scroll down for video) A video has emerged, showing a young woman getting ready to drink her professor’s urine for extra credit.

A student of the Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, uploaded the video to the Internet in protest.

A student said that their professor had a small vial filled with a yellow substance. He said that the vial contained his urine. He then offered extra credit to any student who was willing to drink it.

A female agreed to do so. She was seen holding a small garbage can in case she throws up while drinking the substance.

Professor Jason Hansen said that he has used this method for many years and it is part of a lesson on kidney function. According to Hansen, years ago, doctors used to drink their patients’ urine to screen for things like diabetes.

After the video of the incident was uploaded to the Internet, Professor Jason Hansen released a statement saying: “Please rest assured that it was not really urine, but rather food coloring and diluted vinegar.”
