Police in Maryland, were called after armed robbers stormed a GameStop store.

When officers arrived at the GameStop store in Silver Spring, the armed robbers were gone.

While reviewing surveillance video, police spotted a 7-year-old boy reportedly punching one of the armed robbers.

The surveillance footage shows the two men, both wearing masks, entering the store and demanding everyone to stand with their backs against the wall.

The child defied the orders, and instead began punching one of the gunmen.

The attacker then pushed the child against the wall. The two men stole cash from the register, as well as personal items from store employees and customers.

The gunmen escaped before police arrived. So far, no arrests have been made.

Although the child was brave to face the thieves, police said that what he did was very dangerous.

These were armed robbers, and it would have been better for the child to follow their demands in the interest of his own safety.

It is likely that the child simply did not understand the seriousness of the situation and he did not realize the danger he was in.
