Police in the United Kingdom, are urging parents to speak with their children about the dangers of getting involved with drug smugglers.

The warning came after a 14-year-old boy was found with drugs, a kitchen knife and cash strapped to his body.

The teenager of Dorset, was arrested by officers who discovered a large quantity of class A drugs, a knife along with about $1,000 cash on the boy.

The 14-year-old boy who was used as a drug mule, was arrested in Chippenham, Wiltshire, on charges of drug smuggling and the possession of a weapon.

Police condemned the increasing use of young people to carry out dangerous drug deals.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire police said: “This is a very worrying example of how dangerous drug networks are exploiting young vulnerable people in order to further their drug businesses.”

Police said that the children are being exploited because of their age and naivety.
