Workers in the United Kingdom, were shocked to find a very old letter to Santa Claus.
The workers found the letter to Santa in Sussex, during construction work.
Emily Nash hired people to repair the fireplace in her home on Eshton Road in Eastbourne. The workers found an envelope while removing one of the chimney breast plates.
The letter was addressed to Father Christmas, and it was dated 1925 and signed by E. Short.
Although the letter is 91 years old and has some brown stains, it is still legible. The letter reads: “Daddy Christmas. Will you please bring me these things? Fort, cannon, box of soldiers, Indian, chocolate, boat, book and handkerchiefs. Yours sincerely, E. Short.”
Nash, 24, said that she has no idea who wrote the letter.
“The house was built in the early 1900s so whoever wrote the letter must have been one of the first people to live here,” Nash said.
