A man was busted after using a gun in a music video before using it in an armed robbery.
Police in Florida, arrested the man after they recognized him from a music video, in which police said he used the same weapon as he used in the robbery.
Delray Beach police arrested 18-year-old Markens Marc, after they responded to a call of a man who was robbed at gunpoint.
31-year-old Marc Perdue told police that he was taking out his trash around 1:00 a.m., when two men in a car approached him.
They asked if he wanted to party, but he declined. When he turned to go back inside, he said that one of the men pointed a gun with a laser pointer at him, and stole his wallet and cellphone.
One of the officers recognized the description of the car and the gun, which belonged to Marc.
According to police spokesperson Dani Moschella, officers reviewed a music video titled “Younginn ft. Spadez Juggin” as part of another investigation.
In the video they saw Marc, pointing a black gun with a laser pointer. Perdue confirmed that he was the man who robbed the victim, according to the arrest report.
Marc was charged with armed robbery, and is being held in Palm Beach County jail without bail.
