(Scroll down for video) A man of Brazil, who wanted to raise awareness about the problem of deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest, walked barefoot on broken glass while 5 snakes were in his mouth.

Arteval Duarte recorded himself holding the five live snakes in his mouth while walking through a trail of broken glass in Para.

Duarte, who is also known as the "The Ninja of Serpents," often involves snakes in his demonstrations.

In June, Duarte held a protest in Para, where he put four different kinds of snakes in his mouth for several seconds.

Duarte then released the snakes unharmed. Duarte, an anti-deforestation activist, is known for pulling off stunts in public as a way to protest the cutting down of trees.

Duarte has been handling and training poisonous snakes, spiders and other animals for the last 15 years. He has been awarded the Ninja Snake title for his skills.

He spends his time in the wild forests of the Amazon.
