McDonald's to give away free gold nuggets in boxes of chicken nuggets to lucky customers

(Scroll down for video) People now have another reason to dine at McDonald's as the company announced that it will be giving away free gold nuggets to lucky customers in Japan.

To win, customers must follow McDonald’s Japan on Twitter, and keep an eye out for the for the chicken nugget thief dressed in yellow and black.

The thief will leave clues and evidence at sites throughout the country.

One participant will be chosen randomly each day for the next three weeks, and each will receive a coupon book for 39 days worth of chicken nuggets.

The gold nuggets will be hidden in one of these boxes.

McDonald’s said that the nugget is made of 18 karat gold and it weighs 50 grams. The value of each gold nugget is around $2,000.
