Woman who was driving with fake license plates bites police officer who stopped her

A police officer was bitten by an angry woman who was pulled over for driving with fake license plates, according to police in Austria.

Braunau police said that the woman, who was not identified, was very belligerent and refused to comply with orders.

The woman was charged with numerous traffic violations and resisting a police officer. According to the police, the driver was pulled over after officers noticed something wrong with her license plates.

When she could not produce a driver's license, the officers asked her to step out of her vehicle, but she refused.

As an officer leaned through the open car window to try to remove the ignition key and open the door, the driver bit and scratched him on the arm.

She was then forcibly removed from the vehicle, and her driver’s license, keys and car and were confiscated by the police.
