Man steals tire from car in parking garage and puts it on his own vehicle before driving away

(Scroll down for video) Police are looking to arrest a man on a charge of theft after being seen on video stealing a tire from a car and putting it on his own vehicle, according to police in China.

Wuhan police said that the suspect who was driving a white car, stole a tire from the vehicle belonging to a man identified as Xiong.

According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Wednesday, in a large car park garage. The video of the incident was uploaded to the Internet, where it was shared many times on social media sites.

The video shows the suspect entering the parking garage and looking for a spot to park his vehicle. After finding a spot, the man retrieved tools from his car and went to another vehicle parked in the garage.

He took off a tire and placed it on his own vehicle before driving away. The video clearly shows the tire that did not match the others on the suspect’s vehicle.

Xiong did not notice the theft until he had arrived at his home because the man had replaced the stolen tire with one of his own car.

Police were able to identify the suspect throughout the license plate numbers, but he was not arrested.
