Park Rangers in India, have arrested 18 lions after the animals attacked six people in the last two months.
Officials of the Gir sanctuary, said that the 18 lions were locked up and are being investigated to determine which one is responsible for the attacks that killed three people.
Investigating are testing paw prints and excrement to determine the guilty one.
The lion that will be found guilty of the attacks, will spend the rest of its life behind bars and will receive daily beatings while the others will be released in the wild.
JA Khan, who is the chief of Parks, said that the 18 lions were caught separately and they are being held in 18 cages. Khan said that investigators have already pinpointed the guilty lion, but they are waiting the final results of additional tests.
