A young student was found dead due to blood loss after a night of drinking at bars with friends, according to police in Wisconsin.

Menomonie police said that 22-year-old Rickey Hible, bled to death after cutting himself from a glass sign at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church on 9th Street East.

According to the police investigation, Hible had gone to a party and then to several bars the night before his death. His friends told police that Hible seemed calm and did not seem to be upset before he died.

Hible was last seen alive at Jeff’s Pizza. A person who works on the block of the church, found Hible around 7:00 a.m. Hible was at the entrance of a house across the street from the church.

Investigators at the scene found that the church’s glass sign was broken. He had cuts on his right forearm, wrist and elbow, which points to Hible punching the sign.

The student’s blood alcohol content was .298, which is more than three times the legal limit for driving.
