The man of Kentucky, burst into the mosque during services and started yelling about Jesus.
37-year-old Luke Michael Roberts of Elsmere, was charged with theft, impersonating a police officer, trespassing and disrupting a lawful meeting after police said he entered the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati and interrupted prayer services.
Police said that Roberts entered the mosque in West Chester Township, Ohio, around 11:00 p.m., and shouted “Jesus is Lord,” while Muslims where praying.
When one of the worshipers confronted Roberts and asked him to leave, he allegedly said that he was a police officer and therefore, he did not have to leave.
When another worshiper called the police, Roberts tried to grab the phone from him. Roberts finally fled, but was soon arrested.
