(Scroll down for video) A hit and run driver in Canada, was caught thanks to a video that went viral on the Internet.

Vancouver police said that they have arrested 18-year-old man, who was not identified, after being seen destroying his mother’s Porsche in the parking garage of his home.

The teen was charged with driving without a licence, and hit and run of a parked car. Had he stayed at the scene, the teen would have received just a fine of $276 for driving without licence.

The two-minute video that was taken by the teen’s neighbor, shows him trying to get the expensive car into the garage. While training into the garage, the car got stuck in the wall.

The teen tried to force the car into the garage and destroyed his mother’s vehicle in the process. The incident unfolded on Thursday around 11:00 a.m. on West 32nd Avenue between Oak and Granville streets.

The boy’s mother was out of town at the time, and the boy decided to take the Porsche out for a spin.

Police received a report of a white Porsche Cayenne hitting a parked car, but it was not until the neighbor sent them the video of the teen destroying the luxury that they managed to connect the dots.

The car license plate was visible in the video for some time.
