(Scroll down for video) Fans, friends and family of a former UFC fighter are shocked over his sudden death.
The former UFC fighter Ryan Jimmo of Canada, who is known as “The Big Deal,” died in a hit-and-run after an argument outside a bar.
Police in Edmonton, said that Jimmo, 34, was fatally injured after 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, following an altercation in a parking lot outside the bar in Alberta.
Investigators said that Jimmo got out of his car and approached the driver of a pickup truck. The two allegedly exchanged words, and when Jimmo walked back to his own car, the other vehicle sped up and hit him.
The suspect then fled the scene. Jimmo was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are still looking for two white males who were in the pickup truck.
Jimmo, who was six feet two inches tall and weighed 205 pounds, had a black belt in karate and he was part of the UFC television series “The Ultimate Fighter.”
