A man who was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct, managed to bend police handcuffs after consuming meth, according to police in the United Kingdom.

Manchester police said that the incident unfolded on Tuesday around 5:30 p.m.

The police were called after the naked man, who was not identified, banged on doors of stores while yelling “help me.”

The man entered a hair salon, and poured water on several employees.

At one point, a good Samaritan was chasing the naked man on the street with a gown in an attempt to cover him, but he was unsuccessful.

Police took the man to the North Manchester General Hospital, where he was evaluated. The man managed to bend the police handcuffs on the way to the hospital.

“A Prestwich man took his clothes off at a salon and sprayed staff with water. He then ran out into the street naked. He said that he had taken crystal methamphetamine, and was taken to hospital by an ambulance to be assessed. The male also managed to bend a pair of handcuffs when he was detained for a while,” police said in a statement.
