(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly beating the man who raped her, according to police in Minnesota.
Grand Rapids police said that they have arrested 22-year-old Kayleene Danielle Greniger, after admitting to beating 20-year-old David Alexander Haiman, who allegedly raped her.
Greniger was charged with an accomplice after the fact of second-degree murder and third-degree assault. She was booked into jail, and her bail was set at $100,000.
If convicted, Greniger faces up to 20 years in jail. According to the police investigation, Greniger accused Haiman of raping her.
Later, when Haiman came over to her home, he allowed her to tie him up and she beat him over what she perceived to be rape.
Greniger broke Haiman’s nose, and kicked him in the stomach before untying him.
When her boyfriend, Joseph Christen Thoresen, 35, learned of the allegations, he decapitated the man, and dumped his head and body in a wooded area.
The incident came to light a few days later, when officers tried to pull over a vehicle, but the driver refused to stop. After a high-speed chase, the car crashed.
The driver, who was identified as TMC, told police that Thoresen, who was a passenger in the car, forced him to flee from police by pulling a knife on him.
TMC told officers that Thoresen had admitted to him that he killed the vehicle’s owner days earlier. Police located Haiman’s head and body, and Thoresen was arrested for murder.
Bail for Thoresen was set at $2 million and he faces 40 years in prison.
